DEADLY PLEASURES MAGAZINE – NEW ISSUE!

Deadly Pleasures Mystery Magazine No. 93

George Easter has just sent out the latest issue of his Deadly Pleasures Mystery Magazine (No. 93) and it is another stellar issue packed full of reviews and interesting information.

The issue’s main article is on the Best First Mysteries of the year and features a revealing interview with first time author Mia P. Manansala, whose debut Arsenic and Adobo has been garnering good reviews in America. Other debut novelists highlighted include: Allie Reynolds, L. R. Dorn, T. J. Newman, Rahul Raina and Brendan Webb & John David Mann, among many others

In addition there is the usual sweeping collection of book reviews that cover all aspects of crime fiction from cozy mysteries to historical crime to action thrillers. There is also a lengthy article on new Australian crime fiction, and Steele Curry has contributed his terrific annual selection of books he read while lounging on a Greek island.

For those who want to keep up with new and forthcoming releases, there is the usual listing of the best releases so far this year and books to look out for in the coming months. As well, George and Assistant Editor Larry Gandle provide their interesting thoughts on the current state of the genre.

As always, it is a terrific read that will inspire your criminal reading and alert you to those books, which may fall a little short of expectations.

It is really a must read for anyone interested in crime novels, mysteries and thrillers.
