THIS WEEK’S CANBERRA WEEKLY COLUMN 18 JULY 2019

THIS WEEK’S CANBERRA WEEKLY COLUMN 18 JULY 2019

Canberra Weekly 18 July 2019

In this week’s column I review three new domestic suspense novels: A Nearly Normal Family by M T Edvardsson, The Most Difficult Thing by Charlotte Philby and The Chain by Adrian McKinty.

All are quite good. My favourite is Adrian McKinty’s The Chain, which grips from beginning to end and has the same suburban American feel that Harlan Coben brings to his novels (which is impressive given that McKinty was born in Ireland and lived in Australia for several years!)

I posted earlier longer reviews of The Chain (9 July 2019) and Charlotte Philby’s The Most Difficult Thing (12 July 2019).
